Overview:
The Panorama of Prophecy CD contains the same 24 Storacle Lessons that are available in the BibleUniverse.com online Bible School. A King James Bible is included on the CD to aid in looking up texts referenced in the lessons. Each lesson must be completed before the next lesson can be started. There is a King James Bible window available to aid in looking up texts referenced in the lessons. As each lesson is completed, additional resources in the form of booklets, Inside Report articles and the Conflict of the Ages books with Steps to Christ, are released in the Electronic Book Library. The program may be installed on your computer or local computer network. When the Lessons are completed, and you have Internet access, links to the Bible Universe University website will activate, allowing continued studies, and access to more study materials.

Computer Requirements:
The CD requires an IBM PC compatible computer with a Pentium or equivalent processor, and Windows 95 or later. A sound card is recommended. The program has been tested with Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Win NT and WinXP.

Computer installation:
The program may be installed onto the computer using the installation option after logging on in the program. It requires at least 400 Megabytes of available drive space on a local hard drive.

Network Installation:
The program may be installed to a Local Area Network server to allow several workstations to access it at the same time. The only limit of concurrent students is the number of computers available on the network.

How many can use the CD?
Each Student is identified by a "Login name". Registration information is required in order to receive a Certificate of Completion when the course is completed. Registration information may be modified later. While only one student at a time may use the program on a single computer, there is no limit to the number of students that may be able to use it. The program will support as many simultaneous students in a local area network installation as the server will support.

Will the POP CD run on my Mac computer?
The POP CD will only run on a Mac computer if the Virtual PC program has been installed and has a copy of Windows running in it. The POP CD can only be run from within Windows 95 or later versions.

Why are my completed lessons not available when I use the CD on another Computer?
The program maintains a small file on the computer which tracks the lessons completed, with the scores and answers. Since this cannot be written to the CD, it remains on the computer where the lessons were completed.

QuickVerse Installation:
QuickVerse 7.0 Starter program is available for installation after Lesson 3 has been completed. QuickVerse installation is only available when the program is run from the CD. The following books are available in the QuickVerse program:

Support Questions

1. I placed the Panorama of Prophecy CD in my CD drive on my computer, when the program starts up all I see is a black screen, where nothing happens. Sometimes I get an error message. (Video won't play, program locks up)
Answer: Windows Media player does not know how to show the opening video. Check your version release of Windows Media Player by locating the program and running it. Select Help, then About. The version release will be shown on there. Minimum version required is 6.4.
If you need to update Windows Media Player, check the following chart:

Starting with POP CD version 2.03, the file WMP7.EXE (Version 7) was included, and on Version 2.50 and later WMP64.EXE (version 6.4) was also included. These files are found by opening the 'My Computer' icon, finding the drive with the POPCD#### (where #### is the version number of the release,) Right click on the entry, select Open from the menu that appears. Locate the desired Media update file then double click on it. Follow the installation instructions. Your computer may require a reboot after installation. The POP CD will work after the update to Windows Media Player.
If your POPCD version does not have the required file, you may download the appropriate file directly from Microsoft at:

Current workaround for 2.60 audio playback incompatability with Windows Media Player 9!
Download the current version 2.65 and update the program.

New command line parameters! In version 2.65, optional command line parameters in the desktop icon may be used when the program has been installed to the harddrive. These parameters may be placed at the end of the command line:
/NOVIDEO - This will disable the playing of opening video when the program starts.
/NOAUDIO - This will disable all audio and video playback when the program runs.
Example: C:\POPSTUDY\STARTUP.EXE -t /NOVIDEO

2. I am going through the new CD Panorama of Prophecy, can't get it to play the audio of Pastor Doug going over the lesson. The audio works for the intro but not for the lessons.
Answer: Windows Media Player needs to be updated. See the answer for Question 1 above to get the required update.

3. I cannot get past lesson ##. (or) I cannot read all of the text in the Notes…
Answer: You should be getting a message every time you enter the program, just before you reach the logon screen, saying that you will need to change your screen size to 800 x 600 for the program to work correctly. That is what it means, you have to change the Windows Screen size to 800 x 600 or you will not be able to complete the course.
This is easily done at the Windows desktop, by Right clicking where there are no icons, then select Properties from the popup selection. Select the Setting tab, then adjust the Screen Area size until you get 800 x 600, check the color setting to be a the highest it will support without changing your screen area size. Select OK, follow any additional instructions that may appear. When it is complete, everything will look smaller. Then re-try the Panorama of Prophecy program and you will be able to continue your lessons.

4. I have installed QuickVerse 7.0 Starter, but books are missing in my QuickVerse Program, how do I get them?
Answer: Starting with POP CD version 2.04 the following instructions are included on the CD, and can be viewed by clicking on the blue QuickVerse icon on the POP main screen. Due to the QuickVerse program design, not all of the books are installed to the hard drive to save space. However, QuickVerse does not recognize the POP CD as a source of the remaining books. Follow these instructions to add the missing books after QuickVerse has been installed.

1. Place the Panorama of Prophecy CD in the CD drive, if it is not already there.
   When the program launches, select Cancel at the logon screen. The program will close.
2. Run the QuickVerse program.
3. Select File, from the menu at the top left of the screen.
4.Choose the Library Management... option.
   The drives listed on the left side are the sources showing the contents on the right side.
   Clicking on (C:) Default Drive, will display the books installed on your drive C:.
   Clicking on QuickVerse 7.0.1 Starter will display books available on the CD.
   To copy books from the CD to the hard drive:
    a. Click on the QuickVerse 7.0.1 Starter entry on the left side.
    b. Hold down the Ctrl key then left click on each book you wish to copy to the hard drive.
    c. Release the Ctrl key, then left click on a selected book, dragging the collection,
        place the mouse pointer over the '(C:) Default Drive', where the symbol with the mouse
        will change to a symbol for a collection of books. Release the Mouse button. The files
        will begin to copy to the hard drive. When the copy is complete, Select Close.
5. The books you have selected will now be available from your hard drive.
